Это конечно совсем не сало, а больше бекон, в нем много мяса. Надо бы магазину переименовать продукт. Если хотите сала, то ищите другое. Вкус нормальный, дошло хорошо, но не сало. Поэтому не будет повторного моего заказа этого продукта.

Was less flavorful than I anticipated, and had a larger meat to fat ratio than I anticipated, but I am still enjoying it.

It differs from one time to another, it is not that bad usually but the last time I've received basically two pounds of meat and not salo, very disappointed.

Wish it was packed with more ice. I would have been more than happy to pay the extra.

Not good or bad, just my opinion. This salo is not horrible, but it does have a very specific flavor and taste (душоk, я бы даже сказал) that is different from your regular salo. I can't eat it straight up, but it works well when fried or even minced for stuffing. So you either love as is it or cook it again with high temps.
