This product has bed odor (rotten) and mushy texture, no fat just meat and 7 bones. When I cleaned thick layer of pepper, there are no salt at all. Pepper probably to hide nasty looking yellow spots. I was going to send it back , but was so mad and gave it to my dog ,she refused even to try it, so it went to the trash. Website's picture has mouth-watering salo ,but pictures I took look terrible. I wanted to upload pictures, but can not.

Well i am an American and i ate something like this when i was in Ukraine. This product hot smoked pork salo with garlic and black pepper is delightful and the taste has good flavor to it.

I order this product and it arrived not the product as described in my purchase. It has bed smell and watery texture, no fat just meat and No expiration date. I wouldn't buy this again. I wanted include the picture but didn't work out.

Это конечно совсем не сало, а больше бекон, в нем много мяса. Надо бы магазину переименовать продукт. Если хотите сала, то ищите другое. Вкус нормальный, дошло хорошо, но не сало. Поэтому не будет повторного моего заказа этого продукта.

It differs from one time to another, it is not that bad usually but the last time I've received basically two pounds of meat and not salo, very disappointed.

It arrived packed in vacuum plastic without any indication of the date of packing. It had bad smell like smell of bad eggs. But after grill it was ok with Vodka.

Great taste, packed well. Pretty decent size for the price. The shipping cost is a bit much for small orders, so save up and place a large order to get the shipping free. All in all they have good food and ok prices.

Not good or bad, just my opinion. This salo is not horrible, but it does have a very specific flavor and taste (душоk, я бы даже сказал) that is different from your regular salo. I can't eat it straight up, but it works well when fried or even minced for stuffing. So you either love as is it or cook it again with high temps.
